Terms and Conditions for Website Users, Fixed Location Business Subscribers and Event Customers – SEEQRS

These Terms apply from the earlier of (a) the start of your subscription trial, (b) the date of your event service booking, or (c) your first use of www.seeqrs.co.uk.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SEEQRS platform (“SEEQRS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a service designed to boost business visibility through QR code-powered digital listings.

All content on this site, including text, graphics, and design, is the property of SEEQRS and is protected by intellectual property laws. By using or subscribing to SEEQRS, you (“Subscriber”, “Customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to the following terms:

Definitions

“Fixed Location Business” means a business that operates from a permanent physical address (such as a shop, café, office, or similar premises) or a mobile trader who opts to be listed within a designated SEEQRS Zone (such as a high street or town area) where the SEEQRS QR code window cling can be displayed and accessed by the public.

“Subscriber” means any business or individual subscribing to SEEQRS services under these Terms as a Fixed Location Business.

“Event Customer” means an organiser or authorised representative booking SEEQRS Event Services.

1. Subscription Service Overview for Fixed Location Businesses

SEEQRS provides a digital listing platform that connects local businesses with nearby visitors through QR codes. Subscribers gain access to a personalised business profile, enabling real-time communication with potential customers and insights into traffic to their business.

1.1 Subscription and Fees for Fixed Location Businesses

• SEEQRS operates on a monthly subscription model at £9.99 per month (incl. VAT), following a 1-month free trial (one free trial per business) for fixed location businesses.
• Your subscription includes:
  • A customisable listing page.
  • The ability to post time-sensitive updates and promotions.
  • A physical QR code window cling for display at your premises.
  • Insights on engagement.

1.2 Subscription Free Trial for Fixed Location Business

• A one-time 1-month free trial is available per fixed location business.
• You will be billed at the end of the trial period using the payment details provided at the start of the trial, unless you cancel before the free trial ends.
• If no payment details are provided, service will automatically terminate at the end of the trial.

1.3 Subscription Cancellation Policy for Fixed Location Business

• You may cancel your subscription at any time via your online account.
• Cancellation is effective immediately, and:
  • Your listing may be kept visible on the page but editing privileges removed.
  • The QR code window cling may be removed from your business premises.
• No refunds are issued for partial months or unused time.

1.4 Use of SEEQRS QR Codes for Fixed Businesses

• The QR code and window cling remain the property of SEEQRS.
• You agree to display the QR code visibly at your premises during your active subscription.
• Once your subscription ends, either by cancellation or termination, you may remove the window cling.
• Removal or defacement of the QR window cling may result in subscription termination.

2. Events Services

As part of our platform, SEEQRS offers event organisers (“Event Customer(s)”) the ability to create time-limited, location-based digital listings tied to specific events (such as festivals, markets, shows). These listings provide attendees with real-time access to stalls, offers, event schedules, and information via QR codes deployed on-site.

2.1 Fees and Payment

• Costs for Events Services are calculated per event, based on the size of the event and the number of QR code signs required.
• Current indicative pricing is available on the For Businesses section of our website. Final pricing will be confirmed in writing prior to the event.
• All fees are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise indicated.
• Payment is due according to the invoice terms (e.g., within 14 days of invoice issuance), or as specified in the event agreement.

2.2 Cancellation

• Event Customers may cancel an event campaign up to 14 calendar days before the event’s start date, without penalty.
• Cancellations within 14 days of the event may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the agreed-upon event fee, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2.3 Delivery of Services

• An agreed quantity of QR code signs may be provided (physical) for display at the event site (agreed prior to event).
• A dashboard to manage businesses shown on the page for the event (either created by businesses attending the event themselves, or by SEEQRS in advance).
• The ability to add “service tiles” for event announcements etc. which will be in the control of the Event Customer.
• Event Customers should ensure QR codes are prominently displayed and remain intact throughout the event.
• Event Customers are responsible for ensuring that all content they create, upload, or request SEEQRS to publish for an event is accurate, lawful, and appropriate.

2.4 Termination of Event Campaigns

• SEEQRS reserves the right to suspend or terminate any event campaign at its discretion in case of a terms breach or misuse.
• Upon termination, all event listings will be deactivated and QR code signs must no longer be used.

3. Customer / User Responsibilities

• Subscribers, Event Customers and Users can create tiles for business listings. SEEQRS retain the right to add or remove business tiles to SEEQRS zones or events.
• You are responsible for maintaining accurate and appropriate content on your listing.
• You may only post lawful, appropriate, and accurate content.
• SEEQRS reserves the right to remove any content deemed misleading, inappropriate, or in violation of these Terms.

4. Termination by SEEQRS

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the platform.
• Upon termination, your listing will be deactivated, and you may remove the window cling.

5. Data and Analytics

• SEEQRS collects and uses anonymised usage data for service improvement and performance reports.
• Any personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

6. Modifications

• SEEQRS may update these Terms or the service offering. We’ll notify you of significant changes.
• Continued use of the service indicates acceptance of updated Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

• SEEQRS shall not be held liable for any damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, this site, including disruptions, errors, or third-party actions.
• In relation to Events Services, SEEQRS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from event campaigns, including disruptions, errors, or third-party actions.
